’50 States’ Anti-Trump Protests Movement LIVE | US Capitol Hill LIVE | Trump Latest News

Nationwide “Hands Off!” protests are scheduled across all 50 U.S. states this Saturday, April 5, 2025, marking what is anticipated to be the largest single-day demonstration since President Trump took office. These protests aim to address a range of issues, including proposed changes to Social Security, federal layoffs, anti-immigration policies, and actions against transgender rights.

In Washington, D.C., a major rally is planned on the National Mall near the Washington Monument, with an expected turnout of 10,000 to 20,000 participants. Speakers will include Democratic Representatives Jamie Raskin, Maxwell Frost, Don Beyer, Ilhan Omar, and Glenn Ivey, as well as AFGE president Everett Kelley and progressive activists.

The protests have prompted the rescheduling of White House spring garden tours, originally set for Saturday, now moved to Sunday.

In addition to the “Hands Off!” protests, other events are taking place in D.C. this weekend, including the April 5 March on Washington, a pro-Palestine and free speech event supported by over 300 organizations. While unaffiliated, both protests share aligned values, according to organizers.
